Having performed for over 3 million public school students in America alone, Melody is right at home when it comes to presenting a strong, positive message to youth across the globe! Her R&B/SOUL style of music immediately captivates them, opening the door for her to impact their lives with an inspiring challenge to succeed!
Melody was hailed “Houston’s American Idol” a few years back, was a finalist on KPRC’s “Gimme the Mike” Contest, and in 2007, won the United Way “Be a Star” Contest.

Melody has such a wide range of messages and perspectives to share with students, mainly because she has been through so much in her own life! She has the ability to get down to an elementary age level, where she brings a fun and interactive program, teaching the dangers of drugs, alcohol, and making smart choices. 
Then she can turn right around and be in front of an auditorium full of high school or college age students, and engage in such topics as teen pregnancy, gangs, violence, abuse or abstinence. Whatever message a school may need their students to hear most, Melody is sure to bring that message passionately from her heart and into theirs
